Camile doesn’t like to talk about herself very much, but can speak multitudes about her passion for design. She likes to focus on her work and for it to have an anonymous, elusive quality for it. She believes that to be a designer, one must develop ethical and aesthetic energies to confront the current dilemmas of contemporary culture. Aligned with the current interest in sustainability and our consumption as culture, she is considerate of our impermanence in this world and its implications for what she designs. She believes that design can be sensible, purpose drive, as well as beautiful. Instead of inserting herself into each design, she sees herself more as a medium balancing the influences of nature, technology, and aesthetics in that particular moment in time. Her goals for the future are to see and create positive change for our society.
